Description
This three-day course is designed for users who are new to SAS® Software. The course provides
a solid grounding in the basic concepts of accessing data from different sources and manipulating, analyzing and
reporting on the data once it has been read into SAS.
Objectives
After attending this course you will be able to:
- read a SAS data set
- combine SAS data sets through concatenation and merging
- create SAS data variables and recode data values
- investigate and summarize your data
- calculate simple statistics
- create list, summary, HTML and graph reports
Prerequisite Skills
Before attending this course, you should have a basic understanding of your
computer system and have:
- an understanding of your Operating System
- some experience of programming in other languages or packages

This course covers Version 9 of Base SAS®, SAS/ACCESS®
and SAS/GRAPH®.
