An exciting opportunity to join an Edinburgh based Database Marketing Company as a SAS Analyst. This Company has offices in Edinburgh and London, and their impressive client lists includes companies in Financial Services, Retail and Utilities.
The successful Candidate will work closely with clients to add insight into business critical decisions through the analysis of customer data.
Applicants will be of graduate calibre, highly numerate and able to demonstrate at least 1 year + of analysis experience including the use of complex relational data warehouses.
Role Profile:
- Undertake analysis project work in SAS, Alterian and other technologies
- Be involved in defining scope, deliverables and deadlines of projects
- Be responsible for day to day client communications in the course of the project
- Help in preparation of project presentations
- Take part in project presentations
- Build cordial and beneficial relationships with clients (at appropriate level)
- Be responsible for maintaining quality and accuracy on project work undertaken
- Feed into client development by helping identify revenue opportunities in the course of ongoing project work.

is looking for several Statistical Marketing Analysts to join their Direct Marketing Team.
Due to the varying roles, we would like to hear from Graduates to experienced Analysts, excellent opportunities available for people at all stages in their careers.
The roles are focused on applying statistical concepts and techniques to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the direct marketing process. These positions are pivotal within the small database marketing team and will span segmentation, campaign targeting, and customer profiling and modelling. The Company require people who either wish to learn or have strong technical and analytical abilities.
- Responsible for analysing, profiling and segmenting customers on an ongoing basis
- Delivery of statistical analysis in particular models to explore propensity of customers to buy, upsell, cross sell customer behaviour and factors, such as rate, competitor behaviour etc.
- Evaluation of ongoing marketing activity
- Construction and delivery of regular and ad-hoc data extracts/reports using SAS to support Marketing and other business departments.
